Playing by Ear is a 16-minute observational documentary portrait of de4maver, a young jazz quartet from Aarhus, Denmark. The film follows the four musicians across a series of performances — from a corporate gig in an empty room to the packed streets of the Latin Quarter — capturing their relationship with their instruments, their mutual admiration, and the rare, euphoric moments when everything locks in.
